Privacy Policy for Cleaver Kitchen

Last updated: October 10, 2026
App: Cleaver Kitchen (iPhone)
Site: cleaverkitchen.com
Contact: [email protected]

Cleaver Kitchen is built to keep your cooking private. This policy explains how Cleaver Kitchen (“we,” “us,” “our”), the operator of the Cleaver Kitchen app and this website, handles information.

1. Summary

2. Your data stays on your device

Everything you create in Cleaver Kitchen is stored on your iPhone. If you back up your device, it may be included in backups that you and Apple manage.

Export and backup files. An export or backup file is created only when you choose Export All Recipes, and it goes only where you choose to save or send it. Import Backup reads a file you pick. We never receive these files.

3. Importing recipes and the in-app browser

4. Optional: fxtwitter.com

If you turn on “Read Long X Posts & Photos via fxtwitter.com” in Settings, importing an X post asks the third-party service fxtwitter.com for that post’s text and photos. The request includes the post’s author handle and post ID, and fxtwitter.com can see your IP address. It’s off by default, it’s used only for X imports while it’s on, nothing from your library is sent, and we don’t receive or store any of it. fxtwitter.com’s own policies apply.

5. Camera, photos, microphone, speech, and notifications

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Purchases

Apple handles purchases and offer codes through the App Store. We don’t receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with Apple on your device to unlock Cleaver Kitchen Pro.

7. Website, email, and the Dinner Sheet

8. Your choices and rights

9. Children

Cleaver Kitchen isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll post the new date on this page.
